Please improve notifications
The app is very helpful to let a participant know when he/she is scheduled to serve. It makes it easy to request a substitute. It makes it easy to take that sub request. We have been using the app for a couple moths now. What I have noticed is that people do not generally fill in a sub request. I believe this is because the app itself does not send out notifications when someone requests a substitute. The substitute requests can only be received via email. Many folks don’t check their email throughout the day. If the app were to send out substitute requests, I think more people would be likely to fill in for that spot. This would greatly improve the app.
I know exactly when I should serve by looking in one place. We use the family feature for blocking days that we cannot serve. The app also makes it very easy to volunteer. For my purposes, you can't get any better than this! Kudos to the creator and developer of this app! And With the addition of being able to see all volunteers for a particular day even though I’m not on, it’s perfect! I don’t think they could make this any better.
Continues to slip into into junk
Loved the app when it came out. But it is increasingly becoming obvious that the creators have little interest making it work. Filters don't work on your schedule. Despite the program being set to show scheduled dates from this day forward the app continues to show 1-2 days worth of past assignments. Maybe if the schedule was created only for weekends it would make sense to show both sat/sun. But when you have liturgies 7days a week why do I need to see what I did yesterday? Customer service is anything but. Such a good program but I fear app and kiosk were put together by monkeys. Ugh!!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
