Horrible

rjf98

Immediately freezes once it recognizes my mio link. Can do nothing with the app and can no longer control my link through the computer. So NO WAY to set custom HR zones. Thanks mio???

Updated to three stars because, despite the horrible documentation I was able to figure it out finally. If you have an older mio device you will need to update the firmware before the app works. This is a deep set of menu clicks but... once that is done the app works flawlessly for what it says it does. I was able to adjust my heart rate zones and the data is sent the HealthKit like it should be. I would give the app 4 stars if they would just make firmware update a bigger part of the documentation or have the app open to the firmware update section if it realized the device was not running the latest firmware.

Stupid firmware update is hidden

Dinoxor

Open the app.
Click on the hamburger pop-out menu on the top left corner.
Go to Help.
And then “Software Update”.

Why this VERY important feature is hidden is beyond me and the UX team should be ashamed.

This app use to connect and sync flawlessly years ago when I first bought my Mio Fuse.

But after each update, the app would have a very hard time connecting or won’t even connect at all to transfer my workouts.

It wasn’t until recently that I realized that maybe my mio fuse’s firmware might be outdated. And Lo and behold. It was.

Why doesn’t the app automatically check to see if your firmware is up-to date?! Or why the heck is the feature so hidden?!

After the update, it seems to be working as it should now. But it took me to while to dig through the app to find that the Update software button even exists.

Can I go back to last firmware? Doesn't even work at all now

Wastes my time after every workout as it struggles to connect to my Mio Alpha 2. I delete the app and lose my data just to reestablish connection to watch. Since updating to 2.75 app immediately crashes when trying to connect to Mio Alpha 2. Pretty worthless at this point until they put out another update. Pretty frustrating 😔
