If you need assistance setting up your account, visit ACP Online. Note that only the multiple-choice questions are available in the MKSAP 16 Pocket Edition app. Tablet users are encouraged to download the MKSAP 16 Tablet Edition app, which includes the text and questions. Neither the Pocket Edition nor tablet app offer all online functionalities, such as a search tool, custom quizzes, and the ability to submit for CME, MOC, and CPD credits. However, you can use your iPhone web browser to access all online functionalities through the online version of MKSAP 16, which is also included with your subscription to MKSAP 16 Digital. The online version is designed to adapt automatically to the screen size of your iPhone. When you have completed enough work to earn CME credits, ABIM MOC points, Canadian MOC credits, and Australasian CPD credits, complete your submission from the online version. Your suggestions for future updates and enhanced features are welcome at firstname.lastname@example.org The new Medical Knowledge Self-Assessment Program® (MKSAP® 16) provides you with the most current and critical information in the core of internal medicine and its subspecialties so you can stay aware of what you need to know as a practicing physician in internal medicine today. MKSAP 16 consists of well-researched text sections and 1,200 exam-like multiple-choice questions along with hundreds of figures, charts, and tables to enhance your learning experience. MKSAP 16’s original, high-quality questions comprise patient-based clinical scenarios based on the latest evidence. Each question will challenge your decision-making, help you discover areas of strength, and target areas for you to update or acquire new knowledge. This app enables subscribers to MKSAP 16 Digital or MKSAP 16 Complete to download all of the questions for use offline. If you have already answered questions online, you can also download your answers to the app. Answer questions whether you are online or offline, uploading them to your online account and downloading to your app them from your account. Frequent syncing is recommended to ensure that your answers on your app and online account match. - Fixed swiping bug which could lead to a blank screen.
Been great so far
Not sure why this app has such poor reviews- just purchased to study for boards and it is perfect. You can knock out a few questions while riding the bus, waiting for your friend in a cafe, whatever! And you get MOC and CME credit using nothing but your phone.
Requires frequent removal and re-installation
Helpful to do questions on the go. However, after a certain period, sometimes temporally related to an update, the questions will no longer open within the app. Removing and reinstalling the app remedies it for some time, although it occurs again which then again necessitates removal and re-installation.
Stopped working after update
Was working well on iPhone 4s until most recent update. You see all the different sections but when you click on one section, it doesn't open. Can no longer access questions. Please fix! Thanks!
