Crashing after each highlight video

This app crashes immediately after playing every single highlight video clip! As if it wasn't already annoying beyond belief that you are tortured by having to watch the exact same stupid commercial before each and every highlight video clip, now it also crashes for you!!! This app used to be very good but the extreme abuse of awful commercials is insane, and now it's buggy too. I could understand one commercial before watching all the highlight clips for one game, but the same 15 second ad before every single 15 second highlight is unforgivable!!!!!

*** Update: they fixed the crashing after playing each highlight. However, clearly no one at MLB uses their own app because if they did, they would want to throw their phone into a blender. The amount, frequency and repetitiveness of commercials and ads is simply criminal, especially when you consider how much we pay MLB for this service. These ads annoy people to the point of hating their products and swearing to avoid them. If companies only realized that the money they spend to advertise this way is actually counter-productive, they would stop.

App could be awesome and drive revenue

I listen to my own broadcasters all season but when we get to the playoffsI have to listen to the national broadcast. What is this 1980 something?!? I don't care what the national guys have to say and when it's not my team I could see the home town broadcast could get annoying. So I use this app to try and synch up with my tv and listen to the same play by plan and color guys I hear all year. If you could enhance the app to synch with the tv so I could use your app to listen to my guys I would use it all the time and I'm sure I'm not the only one. So national would get the ad revenue from tv advertising and you could start to sell your broadcast to local markets because you would increase your base significantly.
Just add a button to synch with the tv and you'd have something awesome. You could also charge a premium for this because I'd pay at least $10 for the post season to avoid these guys...

Thanks for reading... now back to the cubs and trying to stomach Ernie Johnsons play by play...

Sabor Místico

Originally, receiving MLB alerts was great. News and scores all came at a reasonable pace that allowed you to breathe. However, this season, the number of push notifications has sharply increased to the point where it is practically nonstop. It's as if every major play spawns five or six successive notifications about it; attacking it from every conceivable angle. Postgame alerts do the same.

Besides game time reminders, scores and wrap-ups - and without even signing up for news - you receive an endless stream of commentary, stats, historical comparisons, "W2W4", anecdotes, oddities, merchandising opportunities (on the part of MLB) and so on. It's just a complete barrage of any little thing the MLB can think of to talk about itself and as much of it as it can shovel out. It's absurd and overwhelming and never seems to end.

Let it be our choice whether we receive extra content or not - and how much. Why not group this kind of stuff together and provide it as a separate feature, with a button that we can turn on or off as we choose?
