Mobile VR Station is a media player designed for Virtual Reality with head tracking. With this app you can view your Photos, Panoramas, Videos & Files projected onto a virtual screen floating in space. Our app supports displaying standard 2D and 3D Side By Side/Over Under content.
Note: We are going to be rushing out a 1.4 update soon to address issues with Micro VR Station and a few other bugs. Until the issue has been resolved, the Micro VR Station store item will be delisted. If you would like access to a working Micro VR Station in the meantime, please visit our Facebook page and we can get you into the 1.4 beta. Please check out the version log for known bugs.

Details:
- Free version limits video playback to the first five minutes.
- Playable formats: MOV, MP4 & M4V.
- Supported HMDs: None (Mono), None (SBS), Cardboard, Altergaze, Firefly & Custom options.
- Supported Devices: Any device running iOS 8.1 can install the app, but iPhone 5S/iPad Mini (Retina) and above provide a great experience.
- Projections: Full Dome, Curved (Large curve), Plane (Flat), Cylinder & Spherical
- Skyboxes: Over 30 available, from space to earth.
- Profiles: Each user can have their own specific configuration.
- Audio: Language switching available.
- Subtitles: Currently unsupported, but we are working on it.
- Files: Each file has its own preview icon and meta data. You can either generate a icon or upload your own. Please see the FAQ on how to make your own icons.
- Bluetooth Remote: If your headset has Play/Pause & Next/Previous buttons, you can use them to control video playback.
- UPNP: Basic support for viewing & downloading video content.
- Other File Formats & > 1080P Video: We are researching how other formats and higher quality content could be displayed, we understand the need and want to deliver in the future.
Tips:
- If video playback starts to lockup please turn your device off and on again.
- For UPNP streaming content, allowing it to load more content by pausing is helpful if play/pause stuttering occurs.
- It is strongly recommended to go through Training at least once and check out the help videos if you have time.
Controls:
- MFI Controller support (While in VR).
- When not using a HMD device buttons can be tapped.
- Tap anywhere in the right eye or empty space to recenter view.
- Tap 3 fingers on screen to quickly exit VR.
What's New in Version 1.3
Known Bugs:
1) Micro VR Station cannot remove the 5 minute limit. Fixed in 1.4.
2) If you make a purchase, restart the app for them to be activated. Fixed in 1.4.
3) Stars can't be set to over 100. Fixed in 1.4.
4) SpriteKit crashes, we've worked on this and 1.4 is more stable.
This update has a few issues, we're working to resolve them, but generally all existing functionality still works, just Micro VR Station has issues.

14) Removed excess VR screens to reduce overhead and increase performance.
15) New Landscape2 profile window option. (Great for 5S, Looks weird on 6+)

Customer Reviews
Priceless for VR
Even regular 2D files look amazing in some like CardboardVR when using this app. Should be easier to adjust the scale of the screen when watching a 2D file. There's also an issue of the screen drifting gradually. In any case, extremely useful app for virtual reality enthusiasts and well worth the money for the functionality it provides.
Truly amazing!
No matter what, this will always be my favorite VR app over Homindo player. I see absolutely no problems it, but if the developers are reading this, I have an idea for a skybox: a movie theatre. That's what this is, isn't it? I'd love to see that new skybox in the next update please. Keep up the good work!
Good app / crashes
Mine has been crashing to the point of having to uninstall and reinstall. Premium features don't always restore. Not sure what's happening. Good features for VR viewing, I'd recommend it, but right now I can't even open the app. An update is needed.
