A Creative Approach to Maps with Lots of Rewards
This app provides an easy and fascinating way expanding the concept of maps and atlases far beyond what they have been. It represents the best of this new genre. By taking the concept of atlases and expanding them, it includes unparalleled informational content and travel uses. It's definitely an atlas on steroids.
Accessing information about any area in the world is a finger tap away. Its portability allows it to be used for finding locations and serving as a valuable resource while traveling.
I have used this app almost on a daily basis. I really enjoy how it provides me with information about where I am at or want to go. It also allows me an easy way to learn about regions and highlights anywhere, in as much detail as I'd like.
Single Best App On The App Store, No Contest!
I am an avid traveler and avid app connoisseur. I have downloaded at least 2,000 apps since the App Store was first created, and I can say with full confidence that this is the single most innovative, useful, and coolest app I've ever seen. I will use this until the day that I die!
It's basically an atlas combined with an encyclopedia in a seamless, beautiful interface. My compliments to the developers and everyone involved in this project. I'll never stop exploring and learning about the world because of this app. Definitely deserves a spot on my home page!
Great for trip planning, just the right level of detail
Great for trip planning, just the right level of detail to get an overview of an area. You can bookmark places you plan to visit -- zoom in to mark sites within a city, then zoom out to see all the cities in which you've bookmarked places. The thumbnail-sketch description is just the right amount of detail to jog your memory about why you bookmarked the place without overwhelming with details (which you can get from your guidebook anyway).
