Mole Monitor utilises unique algorithms to ensure that your images are accurate and ready for review by you and your doctor.

Not worth the money !!! Don't buy!!

Don't waste your money on this app. It's not worth the $7 they charge. After you buy it, the camera focuses in and out and crashes on purpose. Then a pop up asks you if you want to buy the "macro-camera upgrade". That's called planned obsolescence- when a product is created inferior or planned to fail so you are continually pushed to buy its upgrade. Don't let this app rip you off like it did to me! Also thank you Apple for allowing these kinds of scam apps to exist in your store and then not offering any honest guarantee they will work or any refund!!!! So you think it's ok for your company to take your customers' money when they were honest enough to trust your store and the apps you chose to vend but not have to show any kind of warrant they will work. Nice. Everybody, Apple is too big of a company to care!

Developer Response ,

Hi Truth tester,

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you were having issues with the Mole Monitor app. Without further information it's difficult to determine the cause of the crash you described. As mentioned elsewhere on iTunes and on our website, the camera hardware on the iPhone is not particularly well-suited to macro photography and is therefore particularly dependent on lighting and will tend to cycle it's focus as you describe when it's held too close. This is the reason we developed the macro lens clip-on so as to better deal with the limiting factor in the process, the iPhone hardware, which is outside of our control. I don't think any of us here would take the risk to be involved in a planned obsolescence conspiracy unless it paid for more than our pizzas. While Apple's quality control is debatable that too is out of our control so instead please get in touch with us directly over support@mole-monitor.com and we'll do our best to resolve your issues. If we can't then, as we always are, we'd be happy to offer a refund for the app. We actually have a 100% strike rate on refunding the purchase price of the app when we haven't been able to resolve issues.

All the best,
The Mole Monitor Team

Takes a little while to figure out...

Make sure you switch camera to manual mode. Auto mode is glitchy for men with hair.
