Ratings and Reviews
I have 4 children under 9 years old and this app is exactly what we needed for helping the kids manage money and develop financial literacy. For a lot of reasons, the old piggy bank just isn't practical in a digital age. This tool allows for us to deposit "allowance" into separate accounts per child on an automated schedule. We have their current balances at our fingertips when we are out in public and the kids can check at any time to see where they stand.
It really cuts down on the hassle of expecting a young child to carry around cash or the parent constantly making small purchases for the child with a reminder to settle up later. I could go on and on about the features, but this has really simplified our lives and set our kids on the road to financial wisdom in the digital age. I can't recommend this enough.
Read the app description - too many features to re-type! This is a robust tracking tool, compared with many of the simple allowance/chore apps (many of which aren't free!). An additional feature to those listed above: you can schedule recurring deposits (like allowance) or purchases (like kids' portion of car insurance payment). It's easy to use, and the online option is great for those of us who don't love typing on a phone, but still want access when we're on the go. I would like to see the developers add Autofill for Payee and Comment fields, and improve the formatting slightly, but I still give 5 stars for the ease-of-use and customizable accounting features, all for free!
Stellar customer service
I contacted the designer once with a question and a second time with a problem I created. Both times I was immediately contacted and was kept updated on the progress. They were able to find my error, I mistakenly deleted all transaction data from an account, and gave me options to repair.
The app itself does exactly what I need to begin training my children in money management, saving and especially giving.
