What's New in Version 1.1.93
Hey MONOPOLY fans! We've made some behind-the-scenes updates to the game. Thanks for playing.
Decent, not perfect, app. IOS 10 Compatible Now
The game doesn't cheat. It is a fun game that I play every day. If you can't beat this game 90% of the time, you need to rethink your strategy.
Buy any property you land on, even if you have to mortgage everything you have or trade something for cash. Do whatever it takes including trades for property or cash, to get at least one of the light blue, maroon, orange, red and yellow properties blocking the AI from making a set of them. Trade away the railroads or utilities to get these colors. You will never win with RR or utilities anyway. Don't worry too much about holding on to the brown because they have a bad ROI. Likewise the green or dark blue because they cost to much to develop. The best set to have is orange. If not that then light blue. These are best because they are relatively cheap to develop and the "Go to Jail"/"Advance to Go" cards queue up so many victims.
Monopoly will finally run on iPad Pro
Ver 1.1.93 seems to work on iPad Pro. It has been a long time waiting for it. I kept the non-working version on my iPad so that I'd automatically download updates. This is one of my favorite pastimes when it works.
Prev. versions -- One of my favorite games won't run on new iPad. EA, we need a new version, please!
A responsbility a developer accepts in launching a major app is to keep up with the evolution of the OS and the H/W. The new OS versions are available in beta to developers months in advance of public release so that they can have their updates ready. This app is still available for sale even though it has been broken for months on end. That's inexcusable.
Decent fun game annoying graphics
This game is fun to play. I have both the iphone and this version. I much prefer the ihpone version though it is much smaller. This ipad version has very annoying extra graphics that cover up actual game graphic. For example, when doubles come up the screen is covered by a huge "DOUBLES" and big popping white stars. I can't see the movement of the pieces through them. Or every time you pass GO the screen is covered by flying gold arrows for some reason and I can't see the board or piece movement through them. Why? Annoying and completely unnecessary. Please remove or at least give option to remove.
