What's New in Version 1.1.85
Hey MONOPOLY fans! We've made some behind-the-scenes updates to the game. Thanks for playing.
Decent, not perfect, app which is currently broken in iOS 10
Current version 1.1.85 crashes frequently at startup in iOS 10. If you can avoid the startup crash, you can play in portrait mode. However if you try landscape mode, even for a moment, the elements do not display correctly.
By the way, the game doesn't cheat. It is a fun game that I play every day. If you can't beat this game 90% of the time, you need to rethink your strategy. Buy any property you land on, even if you have to mortgage everything you have or trade something for cash. Do whatever it takes including trades for property or cash, to get at least one of the light blue, maroon, orange, red and yellow properties blocking the AI from making a set of them. Trade away the railroads or utilities to get these colors. You will never win with RR or utilities anyway. Don't worry too much about holding on to the brown because they have a bad ROI. Likewise the green or dark blue because they cost to much to develop. The best set to have is orange. If not that then light blue. These are best because they are relatively cheap to develop and the "Go to jail"/"Advance to Go" cards queue up so many victims.
People are still complaining...
Paying $5 was defiantly worth it, best mobile bored game on my iPad mini 4 right now. Also I have noticed that people are rating 1 star because the game has no sounds, I have had no problems with sound or anything, so are you guys sure you didn't just accidentally turn off sound in settings?People are still upset and are complaining about the little things, witch really they fixed all bugs, and I am pretty sure why some people are complaining is because they are using older apple products, witch I would be surprised if they didn't complain about every game they play, with the older product, and others are little kids with the same problem or they are just being kids like usual. Overall it's a great game, and to people that want to buy this but aren't sure, just look for the comments were people are using your device to play this.
Good game, but gets annoying and predictable
This game should be a lot more fun than it is. It needs to be way more fair and less predictable. I notice a lot of patterns like other players have mentioned like consistently landing on other players properties yet somehow they never land on yours. Sometimes the AI will skip over your property and land on everyone else's. You find yourself being the only one never getting. You land on AI property all the time and the first time around you are mainly landing on chances or community chests where you always pay something, meanwhile the other players are buying property. But when other players land on the chances and community chests, they receive money. It's gotten to the point where I can almost predict the next moves for me and the other players. I'm guessing that when it is "hard" it means the game will cheat to make it super hard to win, but other times you have no choice but to lose. This game should be more like the real game and left to chance. Not predicted or set up by programming.
