What's New in Version 1.2.95
Hey MONOPOLY fans! We've made some behind-the-scenes updates to the game. Thanks for playing.
Playing against the computer is often an exercise in futility. The only way to beat the computer is to basically block it from buying property blocks. Otherwise, they will consistently land on any space but your properties while you will always land on their properties. If you own a block of properties, especially ones with houses/hotels, the computer will inevitably land on the chance/community chest that lies in between them or will skip them altogether. However, you will always land on their properties. I played one game where I landed on the computer owned Boardwalk 3 times around in a row. So, if you block the properties, you can win but it takes a lot of patience. The game is fun and the graphics are good, but it is almost impossible to beat the computer.
Fun game, other reviewers must not be very good at it
I love monopoly. I was hesitant to purchase with other reviews saying that it's impossible to beat the computer. All I can figure is that the other reviewers must not be very good at monopoly. The computer has only beat me twice in 10 games, set on the hardest difficulty.
It definitely is challenging on the hardest difficulty. Lower difficulties are pretty easy to beat.
It is annoying having the instructions given every time you play a game, but I found where to turn the instructions off in the settings.
So unbelievably rigged
I've been playing this game for years and it has always been rigged. I'll land on the computers properties with houses and hotels every single time around the board. While the computer only landed on my properties with houses and hotels every third time around the board. I owned a majority of the monopolies. I was on the verge of winning and things went downhill very quickly.
I don't even understand why a game like this has difficulty levels...shouldn't it be randomized or left to luck and chance???
Do not buy this game if you're going to play against the computer. It is truly unbelievable.
