Description

Would you like to take a hilarious photo or make a video with dinosaurs, those who ruled the Earth long time ago? Ever played with huge monsters in your living room, backyard or in the city center?

Monster Park - AR Dino World is a new augmented reality game that lets you observe and rule incredibly lifelike dinosaurs and other horrible creatures with your device’s camera. Take a look at monsters in real size, bring them into your world, walk together, take cool photos and record videos to wow your friends.

Charming and mysterious giants immerse you in an augmented reality gaming environment. ARKit with precise tracking and light detection makes this whole experience incredibly powerful and realistic.

"It is one of the more compelling visual experiences available using ARkit tech right now." - macworld.com

"The game itself deserves quite a prominence and frequent mentions as watching a massive 3-dimensional dinosaur moving around the room is quite an enticing experience. It literally gives game players a feeling that they are inside the Jurassic Park itself watching the doings of these huge extinct beasts." - nimblechapps.com

"There's something cool about watching a dinosaur roam around a real-world location, just like you're in Jurassic Park. Everyone loves dinosaurs, but have you ever chilled with one in your living room? This is a great showpiece for how good ARKit can look." - wareable.com

"Monster Park – Dino World is what really excites me about augmented reality: the ability to have crazy things (like dinosaurs) appear right before my very eyes. Although dinosaurs have been extinct for more about 65 million years, this app gives you the chance to walk side-by-side or take pictures with them. Monster Park- Dino World is also a great tool that can teach young kids about dinosaurs!" - appfixpro.com

With Monster Park - AR Dino Word enormous dinosaurs and other creatures drop into the real world. While interacting with the prehistoric creatures, not only will you be able to see them as big as they were in real life, but also to direct and control their movements. Tame your dino, make it follow you, move the direction you like or fall down for a while.

How about visiting the parallel universe? Be sure to open a portal, enter it, and explore the incredible world with its wonderful waterfall and awe-inspiring nature.

Make funny videos with monsters, save them to the camera roll or share with friends. App's video recorder is very easy to use.

How to rule the monster?

You can place the monster on any flat surface and scale it to be any size. Simply tap anywhere on the display to direct your monster exactly at that point. Hit the monster, hit it again and see what will happen.

Cool......but needs work

Repman123

The Trex has a really good model although a little more movement from the arms when it’s still would be nice, also it could use so more life, blinking eyes, shifts weight, etc. The other Dino’s however need a lot of work, they seem like lifeless globs their textures need work and as I said previously they need more life, the spino’s arms should not be stuck in a single position it just looks sloppy and bad on your part that it would even be released in such a bad state. I like how you can enter and exit the portal, as well as the arena it is textured well and looks very good. I don’t know how possible it is to make the Dino’s not cross in front of objects in the foreground but that would be amazing. Something else that would be amazing is if you had a small joy stick where you could actually move the Dino’s around the environment rather than the strange click the floor thing, it’s ok for the arena but not great in irl. I hope these things are fixed because this game is not worth the money if they are not. Also something I forgot to mention was the raptors models are also good.

Developer Response

We're glad you like T-Rex and raptor models. We're working on the update and hope you can give a try the new version when it is out. The new ARKit will probably make it possible to make the monsters not move across the obstacles. Have a great day!

Monster park is by far the best AR dinosaur app I’ve seen. The dinosaurs are so detailed, they look as though they came out of Jurassic Park rather than a game. There is just a few minor problems, for example the dragon update. Ever since that update you couldn’t take a video longer than 60 seconds.
The app doesn’t detect walls as easily as I thought it would, the dinosaurs sometimes jerk back and forth. It doesn’t really matter, but I think that Allosaurus, Brachiosaurus, and perhaps a poison-spitting Dilophosaurus would be great things to add to your next update. Even without those changes I’m still rating this amazing game five stars.

Developer Response

Thank you! We're really excited to receive the positive feedback. We'll do our best to improve the AR experience as well as the wall detection.

This is light hearted fun!

justin case your listening

People....don’t think this is going to look like you are making a multimillion dollar movie, your not, BUT it is pretty darn good for making a fun video from your iPhone. I live in Hawaii myself, so I have Jurassic looking area all around me that makes it even better! I hope for more updates. Also, developers, could you make the t-Rex “growl” loudly on command/tap (instead of snapping back in a violent manner). I think the growl would have more fun effect in every day peoples iPhone videos. Or, or...you could do one finger tap will make it growl, two finger tap will make it defensively snap back. Thanks for the fun!
