What's New in Version 2.2.41
Don't get me wrong, I loved this game, but it has one incredibly substantial issue: the length. In total, this game has only 10 levels. Seriously, I beat this game easily in under an hour. This game was so short that I kinda feel I've been cheated by the people who made it. Luckily, I bought it when the game was on sale for a dollar. Don't get me wrong, everything else about the game was fantastic; I cannot think of a single other complaint. The music was beautiful and really helped to set the mood, the levels were as eye-catching as they were challenging, and the storyline (although rather limited because of how short this game was) easily grabbed my attention and made me want to keep on playing to learn more. To conclude, this game has one error that caused me to rate it only a 3 out of 5 stars: it is far too pricey for the amount of content it has, which is barely any. I'm really disappointed, because I truly loved every second of this game, but with only an hour's worth of content at best (depending on how good/bad you are at solving puzzles) I can't see how this game can receive a rating higher than a 3 out of 5 stars.
There is an option to purchase an additional 8 levels for 2 dollars, but seriously, considering how quick it was for me personally to progress through the 10 levels that I already bought, I really am not even considering purchasing it. 😔
Uniquely Creative Puzzle Game
This is a unique, creative and beautiful little puzzle game - but not worth $4. Glad I bought it on sale for $1. The game is very short - it only has 10 levels. You can finish it in only a couple of hours. Then, if you want to play more you can by just 8 more levels for an additional $2. So, in the end you may pay up to $6 for a game that's only going to give you 4-6 hours of entertainment with no replayability. On top of that, the way the game is designed you will eventually solve it. There's no fail, no game ending mistakes to be made - just keep wandering around and you'll eventually solve it. Of course, that's the nature of a puzzle, but this game does it in such a linear way. That's why I say that it has very limited replayability. Having said all that, it is a very unique, clever and creative puzzle game. It's also beautiful and whimsical. Also, in spite of its two big limitations - length and linearity - it's still fun to play. It's just not $4-6 worth of fun. Get it, but wait until you can get it on sale. Glad I spent $1 on it, but would have felt ripped off if I'd have paid more.
Great game, but...
This is a very enjoyable and creative game, don't get me wrong. It's originality is stunning, and the graphics and soundtrack are very closely connected. I would give it five stars, but there are two big cons that really ruin it for me. For one, it costs way too much. Yes, the game probably was hard to make, but there could have been more levels. If there were a considerable amount more, maybe the game would be worth four dollars. But there isn't a huge amount of levels. This seems like this would be the free version, and the paid version would have lots more levels. What I'm trying to say is that the game is way to short, considering its cost. This is where I come to the next problem: The game is over way to quickly. I thought that this game, putting its story into mind, would have a lengthier play time. I did just think of another issue: the sequel has to be paid for. This short game was expensive all on its own, but it's partner is as well. Cut down the price and make the game longer and The game will have earned a five star review.
