Mood is a simple app that provides an outlet to record the feelings you experience all day, every day. To get started, just tap the emojis that correspond with your current mood. If you like, write a few words to describe what's going on in your life at the moment.
Each time you post a session, Mood analyzes your overall emotional state using complex algorithms. For insight into your personal patterns, check out the app's dynamic charts, graphs, and in-depth statistics.
You can use Mood to analyze, understand, and potentially circumvent stressful events by knowing where you have been. This amazing mood tracker acts as a mood diary, predictive calendar, emotional journal, and tracking app for episodes of depression and anxiety.
Mood has an easy-to-use tracking journal that has been endorsed by therapists, as this method of analysis is proven to assist with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, mood swings, stress, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and depression.
While the high cost of professional mental health care like talk therapy can be prohibitive, this simple app offers similar benefits by providing an objective and private safe space to examine your thoughts and feelings—absolutely free.

Love it but…
This app is great! I really do love it. It’s simple and easy to use. But in truth I still have some complaints that I hope the developer will please work on. I love that I can add other emotions that are not listed but the random list of emojis to pick from is a little limited and requires at times some really creative thinking to find one that will work for that emotion. Although sometimes those random ones do work really well such as I added volatile and used a 🌋. In this same area the limited characters for the words (especially when it’s only one more than the limit) is frustrating and leaves you trying to find a shorter word with the same meaning and the other options aren’t always shorter. It also seems to think that even my positive emotions that I make are negative ones in the statistics so the ability to mark it as positive, negative or neutral would be a smart addition. It would also be nice to be able to edit them but I am glad there’s at least the ability to add an afterthought. Oh and it was sending me notifications at first but it just up and stopped and now I forget to go into it as much as I would like to. It may seem like I have a lot of complaints but honestly, I really do love this app and these suggestions if implemented (where possible) would make it even more lovable and I would for sure give it 5 stars. Thank you!

Thank you for the feedback - we love it!
We are working on upgrading many of the features you have touched on in your review.
Stay tuned for some great updates!
Helpful and user friendly, needs a few updates
I like the custom mood feature but find it odd that you can only choose from a select group of seemingly random emojis and often find it hard to choose one that seems appropriate for the feeling.
I also agree with other reviews that the ability to edit a note would be helpful, particularly if you find a better word to describe your mood later (rather than the only option being to add an afterthought).
Personally I think it would be helpful if the app had notification features to check in daily or even multiple times a day, because sometimes I get busy and forget, or I only remember to check in when I’m feeling something negative, which I feel can inaccurately skew my mood overview results.
I used this app a lot to help track my feelings during my depression, but it started wigging out recently. I set a Touch ID for the app, but now when I try to open the mood journal, it pulls up Touch ID, then closes it almost immediately, then opens it again, then closes it, and so on. It’s stressful and confusing, even more so since I can’t even open the app without having to power down my phone. And yeah, it doesn’t let me leave the app when it does that. It’ll take me back to this app no matter what I do, and the only solution is to completely restart my phone. Other than that, I loved the app. If there’s a way to fix it without deleting it and loosing all of my entries, could you let me know? Thanks!
