UI update for the sake of the update
Moodle is useful as a student, and pretty ,much compulsory, and while the previous UI layout was a bit difficult to handle - this one is way worse.
The relevant content is less approachable and you need 3-5 more taps to get to where you usually go. The top menus are a nice idea but it would’ve been nicer had I been able to just scroll through them. Having courses as the last option makes it difficult to get around to what you really need, and hiding the sections in each course to another menu you need to open is just useless.
This isn’t a UX improvement, it’s a downgrade, big time. There’s a lot more work that needs to be done.
I used to LOVE this app last semester. Since it updated, I HATE it!!! I don’t like how i can’t go straight to my grades. Also, i don’t like how i have to select topics. It used to just be where I could scroll through my topics. I never know which tab things are under so it’s annoying to have to try and guess which tab to select. Please change it back! I even don’t like the site page it brings me to every time i open the app. It’s just not as functional as it used to be. Don’t think i want to use this app any longer.
Low quality is affecting our student experience
Our students are complaining the the app is difficult to use and in some cases they get booted out without warning. I know Moodle is a volunteer community but it looks like this version needed more QA.
It’s frustrating when they come to us and we have to tell them there’s nothing we can do.
Please address or roll back to the previous version.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
