★★★★★ Moonlights is a tower building physics puzzler, that will challenge the brain and the physics skills of the whole family.

❝As is, the game is good, but the ability to create your own levels (online, in a Flash-supporting Web browser) and play levels created by the Moonlights community propels it into greatness.❞ ( ★★★★★

❝Moonlights most definitely has the potential to become one of the classic iPhone puzzle games.❞ ( ★★★★★

❝Don’t miss out on this gem of a game. … what are you waiting for, go get it now!❞ ( ★★★★★

❝Combining clever interaction with creative, varied levels, Moonlights is a perfect example of a puzzle game done right. Grade B, Recommended.❞ ( ★★★★

❝Moonlights is simple on the surface, but only a brief session with the game reveals it to be a very challenging puzzler. There's a real "I've got to try it just one more time" draw that makes it hard to put down and a solid value.❞ ( ★★★★★

Customer Reviews

Not as refined as world of goo but a terrific time nonetheless

Update: with the release of world of goo, this game takes its place in the forerunner group of games that popularized a genre.
World of goo is more refined and far more detailed, but there is something about the lack of overhead that makes this game just as compelling. Still recommended highly.
I have only three or four games that I keep on my iphone. Others come and go but this small group are the ones I keep going back to time and time again because they offer a challenge and are very replayable.
Moonlights is in that small group. I like to go back to earlier levels and try to do them in as few clicks as possible. The concept is simple and fun. The only issue I have with the game is that some of the middle and higher levels aren't balanced as well as they could be. I got stuck on one level that seemed extremely difficult for its place in the game. it should have come much later after skills had been developed.
It could use a little polish but overall its a very fun game that is well worth the price.

Vast Horizons

Very enjoyable. The most creative freedom that I've been able to find in a game app so far. Some levels seem nearly impossible such as "yes you can" or the winds of Neptune's first level. Some frustration with the controls trying to make connections with pre-existing nodes and just ending up with more nodes instead... otherwise no worries... big fun... After seeing all the levels and finishing most I have one BIG COMPLAINT: constant direct hits by Martian asteroids on some already challenging levels can be downright obnoxiously annoying...

Seriously... went back and tried to finish "skies of mars" and "planet hopping 2" again for the zillionth time and those asteroids are just infuriating... No fun at all! Those levels are tricky enough... Strongly recommend a non-asteroid option!

Frustrating indeed...

The mechanics of this game are similar to Goo but the gameplay is not nearly as fun. The asteroids are extremely annoying and don't add any skill element. It is mostly about luck and whether you are patient enough to watch your creations get destroyed. I have to admit it isn't worth the $. Go play world of goo instead. It is much more fun. The comments about the placement of the balls is absolutely true. There isn't much control at all. I would also add that the delete option isn't very accurate either. Overall I am unsatisfied.
