Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
A collection of activities that help a person learn Morse Code. It includes a review of the code, four different activities of varying difficulty ranging from Mix & Match to Multiple Choice to tapping the actual codes on the screen, and configuration options for timed or untimed drills and selecting the type of codes to study (letters, numbers, or both). When run in the untimed mode, after each exercise you are given the optino to review just the codes you missed, and to be retested on the codes you missed. A very effective tool for learning or brushing up on the Morse Code.
Very cool app, and I really like the connect-the-dots mix and match. So much more fun than plane old multiple choice. (The program also has multiple choice and an 'tapping' exercise.)
A Joy to Learn With
Four different ways to test you on the same information, but with varying difficulty--that makes it fun and effective.
Uses Poor Training Method
The best way to learn morse is by using a progressive training method which recognizes patterns in the dots & dashes.
Forget about learning the letters in alphabetical order & instead concentrate on sequences like EISH which are "dot" for E - "dot dot" for I - "dot dot dot" for S & "dot dot dot dot" for H.
Next you proceed to opposites like AN which are "dot dash" for A & "dash dot" for N.
There are only a few letters which do not fit into recognizable patterns.
Learning progressive patterns is a much better method than trying to memorize the letters in alphabetical order.
