No better than so many online mtg calculators
The best use for an amortization table is to show how additional monthly principal payments affect the length of the loan. While this shows the breakdown of interest and principal of each payment, what would be most useful would be to be able to enter higher monthly payments to see their affect on the term length and total cost of the loan, a potentially huge effect of which far too few people are aware.
Neat app, but could be improved.
It's definitely still iOS 6 styled, and has a pretty utilitarian design but works well. It would be nice to be able to manually type in the down payment amount, and not have to select a percentage.
Aptly named design
The layout is very well thought out. I wish they had something like this 20 years ago. Would have made my mortgage choices easier as I would be better informed.
