Baron Fig started as a project between friends. We love making things. We know there are others out there that feel the same way. It’s our mission to empower them to create and inspire the world.
Our roots stem back into the community, to a backer-fueled Kickstarter project. We designed our notebooks, the hardcover Confidant and pocket Apprentice, by listening to the thoughts and ideas of creators of all types, both professional and hobbyists.
You now have the next iteration of Baron Fig in your hands. Mosaic is our first journey into the digital realm—and we’re extremely excited to get started.
Together, with your feedback, we’re going to make this the best idea and note app we possibly can. We hope you enjoy it so far, and we look forward to our journey ahead.

Simple & Functional
This is my kind of notebook app. It's simple but still functional. The UI is intuitive and well designed. I appreciate the streamlined approach that avoids the pitfalls of being too clunky or too minimal. I envision using this app for quick note-taking and ideation rather than dense notes with media. It may not have all the features that a heavy-duty notebook app may have but it has the essentials, and the developers are continuing to add new features. Overall, a great notebook app with a lot of potential.
Ok but an annoying design flaw
9/2/16 Once I've created a few notes on a page, it is nearly impossible to get out of editing one note and switch to another. I have done it a couple times, but it's not working consistently, so I end up closing the page completely and re-entering. There needs to be a "Done" button or an arrow to navigate between notes on the page or something. I also do not see any way to export notes or pages.
I'll update when I've really put it through the ringer.
Will this get updated?
This is an awesome app and I enjoy using it but hasn't been updated in almost a year. That leaves the availability for bugs. Some things that should be addressed is the integration of second party keyboard limits the typing of a note so that when you reach the third line, you can not see what is being typed and have difficulty of adding said note to list. As for a wanted feature, sharing notes to others and collaborating on notes could be amazing. Also enlarging text boxes for easier editing.
