Movementum is designed to make you healthier by moving more. We do it by visualizing the power of individual change one move at a time. Accomplish it all without draining your battery power or brainpower.
Movementum runs in the background on your smartphone, and whether you’re into triathlons or movie marathons it counts the number of moves you make in a day. We define a move by a collective transport of your body mass roughly 30 inches. The Movementum app then collects and quantifies all of your movements on your smartphone—the one device that moves with you wherever you go. There’s power in that knowledge.
Find rewards for achieving personal bests and for growing the Movementum community. Challenge others to move more. When they sign up you reap rewards. We also pit neighbor against neighbor and community against community in large-scale movement count competitions all for the betterment of our collective health.

Great but a bit buggy
Good app, it's always on and doesn't kill my battery. Only downside, it will sometimes reset all my progress. I just recently went from #8 to #2079 in the span of a night. This sort of thing happens somewhat often but I've never found a way of giving feedback.
Good app overall. The only issue is that it randomly shuts off. Sometimes I’ll be on a run or hike, look down, and find that it has stopped at mile 1 when I’m at mile 5 or more. That’s frustrating, but on the upside, it’s fun to track yourself against others and keeps you motivated with a little competition.
Highly motivating for me for the last couple of months. But it does have some bugs in the Streak calculation which is discouraging. Probably is overstating my mileage. The fact that you don't have to enter manually is a good thing for simplicity, but more manual entry alternatives would be a good addition.
