Present your documents with video.
The Movenote app let’s you record video alongside documents or pictures to create an integrated video presentation with slides.
Creating presentations is easy and fast. Simply record video with your device and swipe to synchronize the slides to the video. Presentations are shared by sending a link to the recipient and can be viewed without the app.
First add the material you want to present to form a slideshow. Add pictures from your photo albums or take them directly with your camera. Alternatively bring a document from your mailbox or cloud storage like Dropbox. Also you can combine material from all these different sources. Secondly, record the video and simultaneously change slides by swiping. The recorded presentation will play out with the exact same timing.

What's New in Version 1.4
iOS 7 SUPPORT
The new version of Movenote is finally optimized for iOS 7
This long awaited feature let's you store the presentations locally, until you are ready to upload them to the server. Great for when your abroad or in bad network conditions.
You can take full advantage of this feature by going to settings and disabling the auto upload. This is useful if you don't want Movenote to try and automatically upload your Movenotes.
All Movenotes are initially stored on your device, regardless of any settings. So in case of network failures, all Movenotes will be safely stored on your device for later uploading.
PORTRAIT ORIENTATION FOR THE CREATE VIEW
This feature has also been missing for a while and is finally here. Now you can record your Movenotes in whatever orientation suites you best.
There is now a spoken tutorial the first time you log in with your new Movenote App. This should help first time users to get into using Movenote. This tutorial will only be run the first time you log in.
BUG FIXES AND MINOR CHANGES
There has also been several smaller changes and some bug fixes, as usual with any update.
Great idea BUT...!
I have to use this for an assignment for my online professor at the university I attend in CA. It is a great site and I enjoy the fact I have the option to download the app and record from my phone of iPad.
However, I bought the app, signed in and recorded my first video on it and now it won't upload. I have an iPhone and it is just not working. The video I created is not viewable until it uploads but it's saying my network is preventing it from uploading it. I never ever have "network probs" I for understand why I would now.
This is sooo frustrating!
And then I got on my laptop and signed in hoping I can see the video I recorded and attempt to upload it from there but it's like it doesn't exist. I can view the video just fine on my phone but have no records of it on my laptop. Help!!
This app works great as long as you know how to use it. I had trouble getting documents into it until I discovered the secret. When you choose to add a document from your Google Docs you have to touch the little i on the lower right of each document. Then, choose Open With and choose Movenote. It will then convert the document. I would like to see them add the pointer that you have on the website to use with the mouse. As an instructional technologist I'm recommending this app to my teachers.
Not worth downloading
The idea of this app is a good idea but at this point just use the website. This apps functionality is very limited as you can only pull content from your camera roll. There are options to pull from google drive and Dropbox but the app currently will not pull in content from those sources. Hopefully they will fix the connectivity between Dropbox and Google Drive. That would greatly improve the fictionally of this app and remove the step of having to save files to your camera roll on your phone and take up valuable space.
