I have had MoviePass for 6 months now and I have NEVER had a single issue with it. I see 3-4 movies per week and have always been able to use the app to check-in. Customer service is very friendly and quick to answer any questions. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

Too good to be true, A company that lies
I was very disappointed with this company and its customer service. I had the membership for two months and liked it. Then they told me they are offering special services for customers and different options. They basically took away my membership. Before I was paying $40 a month and getting unlimited movies, then they basically said it was no longer unlimited movies, and for the $40 I could only see six movies. So the whole selling point about unlimited movies for $30 a month was a load of crap. Now if I want I can pay $100 a month and see IMAX and 3-D movies which I don't care about at all. This is not what I signed up for. Their customer service is horrible. They are slow to respond to emails. My wife tried to sign up for a movie pass and they basically told her no because I had one. This company needs to do better. Read the other one star reviews, if you use this card for one or two months you will get screwed.

The service is decent as long as you're okay with the limitations. The app however is TERRIBLE. One of the four tabs (search by theater) on the menu bar hasn't worked as long as I've had the app (almost a year) and recently when you click on a theater, it's totally blank and no show times appear. That means to use the service you already paid for, you have to call the also terrible customer service department to get them to manually book your ticket over the phone like its 1996. Also because you have to be within 100 yards of the theater, that means you have to stand there in the theater like an idiot hoping you can get a ticket. Also at that point there's no way to tell if it's sold out without also talking separately to the theater. Let me tell you, the teenagers working at movie theaters do not like being roped into a phone conversation you're having with MoviePass customer service and their attitude is fully justified.
Service is fine, but terrible customer service
I am updating this review from my previous one because of a recent incident that made me hate this app. Within the past week MoviePass cancelled my service without warning and then told me that it was not cancelled. So I was still trying to find movies to watch. The reason for this? Because I used a curse word in the verification process. I'm dead serious. There was a time before the new update where you did not need the verification. Here's the problem with it. Since it opens up your camera, sometimes it holds on it, draining your battery life and absolutely killing your phone. It asks for this verification before you even get your ticket as well. Obviously frustrated with this, it seemed like they weren't listening to my feedback since the app became unusable. Hence why I resorted to curse words in the verification process. Shame. This app used to be so tight.
