Works, but you can’t see the prices

The bottom of the apps screen cuts off just above the line where the price is displayed and you cannot scroll down to read either the price of the Movie of the Week or the other discounted movie, presumed to be for sale. (I’m not sure, because I can’t see what the deal is!)

Since the Movie of the Week is presumed to be .99 Cents, and that is the name of the app, it is not that critical, but since it also shows you a discounted movie, and. you also cannot see that price, it would be really nice if both prices were visible.

So, it is free, but it doesn’t display as the author shows it, and I would presume it to be an easy fix. Just make the window a little larger.

Hi Homer,

I will take a look at this, but I haven't been able to reproduce this problem so far. All movies displayed are .99 cents, so anything in there will be "on sale", also clicking on the button will take you to iTunes so you can rent it from Apple directly.

Thanks for your feedback

Does what it says but has a litte room for improvment.

I like the idea but I think it is almsot too unobtrusiv. I often forget it is up there. Not sure if there is a way to give an option to make an extended display to show the title of the movie as well as the icon. Perhpas once a day make a small name only box drop down from the bar that can be easily dismissed or clicked to enlarge.

I am also getting the issue where the bottom is cut off. It doesnt make the app unusable but it is kind of frustrating. ( I am running a 2017 27” 5K iMac)

Also I noticed that the only way to togle between the movie options is to use a geasture or a mouse with a (right/left) scroll wheel. Maybe add an arrow button for those of us that don’t use track pads or magic mice on our imacs, Mac mini’s, clamshell MacBooks or mac pros

Won’t open and can’t delete it

I just downloaded this app and it will not open and I cannot delete it!

Developer Response ,

Hi rcsmrg, the app is only in the status bar. When you open it it will show in the top right of your screen. To delete it you can long just delete the icon from your /Applications folder like any other app
