The last plane which survives will be the winner. Besides, you can increase your abilities by various powers-up including speed up, multi-bullets, shield and invincibility. What's New in Version 1.1
Of course bug fix too!
This is quite possibly the greatest thing to come to iPad. It allow people with an iPad to get together with friends with an ipod touch or iPhone and play an amazing game. The controller feature is very well done and highly responsive and it allows those of us with an ipod touch who upgraded to an iPad to retain some use for our older device. An essential buy for anyone with both iPod touch/iPhone and an iPad. I give it a 5 star rating with no margin of error.
A hit and a miss...
I gave the controller 5 stars for the whole idea of what they've created. Same as the scrabble game for the iPad where you keep your tiles on your iPhone.
But I give this first game 1 star because it's absolutely horrible. Very slow, firing speed is painfully slow, ship control is lacking response. It's just all in all not very fun and the animation is amateur at best. The graphics are good but when you hit a planet all it does is go away and instantly smaller ones so up...no explosions or anything. It completely lacks pizzazz.
The updates made to this game (and probably the controller) were much needed. The game is actually playable now. The game itself is still...eh...but it is now a worthy time wasting game. I updated my rating to 3 stars. The game itself still lacks pizzazz.
Also, I can no longer get the "joystick" option to work. But that might be the controller apps issue.
The game controls much better after the update. I think it's great multiplayer fun. It's too bad these apps are getting such bad reviews from people who don't have iPod touches or iPhones to use as controllers - or because they have to pay a dollar for the controller - please people only leave a review if you've actually played the game!
