Was great but is falling apart and needs to be updated
I have really liked this app in the past, because of the ability to not only see San Francisco microclimates but also to watch how they are projected to change over the day. However, this app has not been updated since 2015, and one by one the locations are dropping out so four of them currently don't have any data associated with them. It's gradually falling apart. Update: I managed to contact the developer and let him know about the problem and he says he plans to update it in the next few weeks, so stay tuned... my review will certainly switch to 5 stars when the problem is fixed.
Best SF weather app
And overall wonderful concept. It's the best demonstration of keeping apps simple and to the point. I tell everyone about it as a good example of ux design.
As for feedback, it's pretty clear what the colors mean. Plus it gives you temp numbers, so I don't know what others are complaining about.
My only ask is to know about the rain (I don't know why people want to know about fog). This basically let's me know if I need an umbrella or not. Other than that, well done :)
Pretty app
The best things about this app are the pretty display and the fact that they provide info on the different micro climates and you can change your search time of day.
However, I am a little confused about the color system, is it how it feels or what about fog and drizzle? I also find that if I toggle the time of day back and forth, the colors end up changing (ex: mission was light blue and 61, then after a slide it's green, then another slide it's yellow). So not sure what to interpret from it.
