Mr Jump will seriously challenge your skills and reflexes!
Touch Arcade 4/5
“This shouldn't be so hard. Famous last words, those are, in that strange world of gaming where we can die again and again. Mr Jump is really, really hard. It doesn't even ease you in, at least compared to other games.”
“It's a hateful experience, and you'll probably swear your entire face off while you're playing, but you'll still wrap your clammy palms around your phone and try to get to the end.”
“You’ll keep chipping away at the stage, keen to get further and come across something even harder along the way.”
“Gameplay is challenging without being infuriating, and rewards the kind of hardcore pattern memorization that made classic titles for Atari and NES so fun to play. It’s also refreshing to see something other than an endless runner manage this kind of one-button simplicity.”
“Mr Jump Is the Game Everyone Will Be Playing This Month”
“Flappy Bird fans, platformer lovers, and masochists alike will enjoy Mr Jump. This free game is already shooting up the App Store charts and with good reason. Go see what all of the fuss is about.”
What's New in Version 3.4
Mr. Whateveryournameis I want you to know that I love your games but I never knew you made NEKOSAN!!!! I love nekosan and I've almost beat it, but my friend deleted it in frustration. I love Mr Jump, it's just... THE ADS.
Yes you get this enough by other people complaining, but let me tell you, maybe just 1 ad every two minutes? Not after EVERY. SINGLE. DEATH.
Its just... okay picture it like this.
You're playing your favorite game. You die. "Aww darn," you say. Then you get blasted by episode ads (the most ANNOYING in my opinion) and have to wait TWENTY SECONDS until you can close out of it. Then you're mad and you don't pay attention and then you die again! Blasted with ads even though you were only away from the horrible ads for like 2 seconds.
It's just frustrating to be like,
"Hey watch this!" *die
"Haha! You're terrible at this!"
"Hey shut up! I didn't mean to do that! Hang on." *ad plays
"Isn't this inappropriate?"
"I don't even know what is anymore."
Fun, but caused some some trouble
While I enjoyed playing this game, that helped me use my motor skills, it went from an easier level (level one) to a lot harder (level two). This quick jump in difficulty was quite frustrating. Also, level three seemed as though it was copying the older game "Flappy Bird" Overall good game though. Simple yet entertaining.
Hot at first; lukewarm later
What I like:
*easy to grasp
*simple, effective level design
*frustrating in a fun way
*fun little music
*hard to master
What I don't like:
*game sometimes AD! does one tiny stutter that breaks the flow AD! you had (it's almost unnoticeable); happens always right near a difficult AD! jump/situation AD!... Google play version would do the same on my S7edge (I'm starting to think it's AD! not "just a bug" and "not just my phone")... there are other games known to do AD! this (e.g. Subway Surfers)
*game punishes good, loyal players with ads, and ads, and more ads
I think you got my point... but here's another AD! before you go.
(I don't work for the Mr Jump development team, I promise. Sorry about all the ads.)
