" ... a bedtime story with sumptuously blocky, simple illustrations that you can interact with... It’s so psychedelically awesome to play with that, I guarantee, it’s soon going to have adults goggling and swiping at it just as clubbers used to love gawking at Teletubbies. "

200 MB for 3 min story? 🤔
Cool graphics but the story is too short you will be done even before you start reading it besides it got frequent app crashes
Most beautiful app with stunning page turns
I've been looking at a lot of picture book apps and this is by the far the most beautiful and with interactivity that makes sense for the story and that moves it forward, instead of a gratuitous, interruptive game. The story is simple but sweet and instructive--the dark can be beautiful and some of the scary things are misperceptions.
The illustrations have beautiful layers of colors and prints with a great use of dark spaces.
The "page turns" are particularly stunning and effective--you move out through the bedroom window as an owl flies into the sky, to the outside view of the house, looking at the window aglow. Touch a star on the horizon and shoot up through a host of small stars to the next scene--amidst the stars.
This app uses elements the way an app should. It is so worth buying.
Short but cool with a few flaws
When you are moving through the story there is often no queue that let's you know exactly what you should do next to move forward.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
