Ratings and Reviews
My main reasons for using a banking app are pretty simple: I want to check my balance, and if I have an account with someone, pay a bill. I bank with Chase and have MSGCU for my auto loan. It is such an ordeal every month trying to log on to pay my bill!!!!!!! Both their website and app are infuriating and need to be much more streamlined and easier to use. I have had to create a new password each time I log on because it never recognizes my tried and true and always used one, and they need to simplify the loan payment process altogether. There is bill pay and quick pay, but they are 2 different things. You can’t use bill pay unless you have a checking account with them. Quick Pay is for paying with another checking account outside of them and or using a debit or credit card. Each link opens new page after new page until you’re down some frustrating rabbit hole and it is enough to make me want to get my car refinanced and not have to deal with them. I don’t want to have to drive to a brick and mortar location every month to pay a bill or pay for checks and stamps when I don’t need or use them ever in my life. Get with 2018 and climb out of the 90s!!!! If I could afford to, I would just pay several months worth of payments in advance just to avoid the monthly torture of trying to pay on their site. 😤😤😤😤
Horrible app, stupid policies
The app keeps locking me out even though I use the correct password. I'm a cosigner for my husband who is disabled and whenever I get locked out I can't get the online account info unless my husband who has issues communicating calls in, even though the loan goes on my credit too! What a bunch of dookie. When I asked them how I can be added, they said I could fax in a letter of consent from my husband, they have no actual form like a professional operation should provide and no way to verify receipt. The hassle was not worth the .25% interest savings and I will be refinancing with a company who realizes it's 2016 and provides adequate support to manage my account.
I give it a two just because it at least sometimes works
So you guys decide after Face ID comes out almost two months ago to go ahead and jump back several years and update your app for Touch ID Hmmmmmmm🤔 Not to mention the app never works on Saturday nights (this includes the website also). You guys have to do better. Maybe you guys can stop remodeling the buildings and put that money into an actual app developer.
On a positive note the app’s new design and interface is actually great (minus the fact that Face ID is missing).
