Has potential but where’s the rest of it?
I downloaded the free app and gave it a run - it looked promising. The colors are engaging and it goes slow enough that my kids could learn easily. Then, I needed to progress to the next level, and that needed to be purchased. That’s where the goose chase began. I clicked the link to the Apple App Store and it took me to the same free app I already had. So, I tried to make an in app purchase but it wanted me to purchase without knowing what it cost. Fat chance!
It looks promising, but it doesn’t appear to be finished. I’m disappointed, but I’m moving on.
I have old music theory programs for children from the 90s and early 2000 years….MUSIC ACE is one, JUILLIARD MUSIC ADVENTURE, another….and the ALFRED Theory Games. I expected something similar and this was a big let down. There is nothing of substance or quantity here. I wasted my money. Fortunately for me I still have my old Windows XP computer to run the old games on. They are a delight to my students. I love my new iMac but the music apps are woefully inferior in content and graphics.
I purchased this app so my kid could learn piano. The intro session was released with promises of future levels, which never materialized. Piano Dust Buster is far better for a child beginner.
As an aside, the little male character guy in the Music School for Everyone is annoying as hell.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
