A lot of promise, but could use some tweaks
This app has a lot of promise. I like the menubar dropdown options, everything I would need to do is there. Also the preference pane is nicely laid out and functional.
I had an issue when using the “Featured Art” setting, it grabbed one image, but could not update to any others. Also, the image it grabbed (On The Grand Canal, Venice) was a vertically oriented rectangle, so it just used a truncated section from the middle as my wallpaper, which was low resolution and not very appealing.
Using the reddit setting, I experienced the same issue with the images being truncated. Also, I noticed that you can specify multiple subreddits using the “+” operator between each, but it only seemed to repeatedly cycle through a couple of the top images.
If those issues were fixed, and also multiple monitor support added if possible, this would be an amazing app!
