I must say I am digging this pay while in your vehicle and not worry about whether or not the credit card reader is an actual skimmer. Anyways the only reason why I only have this a four star instead of a full five is and wait for it.....CarPlay! In my GMC Sierra I have CarPlay and for the most part I don’t need to handle my phone while I am in the car whether if I’m parked for a short time or driving. If this app was CarPlay compatible I can do all that is necessary straight from my vehicles dash instead of unplugging my phone from the vehicle. Just say be the first to hit it out of the park make it CarPlay compatible....76 your on the driver side right?
Updated: same issues with PIN not working. No one has addressed it. Just don’t bother and go to another gas station. The first time worked and I got the 0.10 off per gallon. The second time it would not apply the 0.10 off. I contacted via email 3-4 times with no response. Called and they are sending me a refund via gift card which is inconvenient considering the small amount owed back. The third time I couldn’t get a PIN sent to my phone to activate the pump so I tried a second pump. Same thing. This was the same station I had issues getting the 0.10 off per gallon before. So I went to another station. Same PIN problem. I ended up using a different form of payment even though I needed to use the card linked to my Chase pay that wasn’t currently in my possession.
Just installed this app and then immediately uninstalled it.
I wanted to use mobile pay but it requires Chase Pay (I don’t have any Chase deposit or credit card accounts), a 76 card which I don’t have and don’t want to apply for, or a checking account. Aside from the fact that ACH transactions take two to three days to hit my account (I prefer using my debit card, since my available balance is updated immediately when the purchase is approved), you guys want me to give you my driver’s license number? Um, NO.
To the geniuses at ConocoPhillips who made the decision to not accept MC/Visa debut and credit cards via the app: your competition does. I had no problem getting my BofA debit card set up in the ExxonMobil app. 😑
