I've always been a work-out enthusiast, but if I could avoid running I would. I'm very much a type A person so having some kind of plan tends to make an activity seem easier to achieve. This app is amazing! I have suggested it to all of my friends who are gradually working their way into an exercise routine and even my rugby team. Doesn't matter how much or how little you can run this app caters to everyone. I could not recommend this enough. It's not about doing it fast it's those minute to minute, mile to Mile improvements that before you know it have you feeling amazing and looking like a natural born runner. Even if your skeptical give it a try!
PS. Remember after plugging in your info about your current cardio and future goals click SAVE (top right corner)! I forgot to hit save the first few times I tried to use it then I finally realized why it wasn't working. Also nice this about this app it gives you a few days before you start your training. So you have time to put it into your schedule. Or you can start logging runs early if you're afraid these few days off will cause a lose of motivations.

I am not a natural runner, never really LIKED running, and now I love it thanks to this app and ASICS! I was barely able to run 2 miles and never dreamed I would get over 3! A year and a half later I now have 13 races under my belt, including 2 half marathons, and am looking forward to my next.
The reviewers that claim this app is too aggressive apparently don't know how to use it properly. I felt the plans truly matched my abilities, but if a particular plan isn't working for you you can simply change the length of training time or the race.
My suggestion: start out GRADUALLY to help avoid injuries and offset running with other exercises like yoga, aerobics, even weights. The running days are not set in stone; you do have the ability to swap rest days for running and vice versa. Also, you can choose the number of days each week to run and the pace between easy and hard. It's pace predictions for your race are spot on!

This: I love this app. This is MY app for my daily training. I started back in January with a goal of running 5 miles. Now I'm in my 4th month running and my goal is 10 miles for June!!!
If you keep your pace, breathe, keep up with a good balance nutrition, rest a lot and follow the plan of this app, you definitely will see amazing results... Ive lost 10 pounds already, and going to my goal of 20 more pounds down!!! 😅☺️... So, what you waiting for? Go run!!! Good luck and God bless!!!
