Using ONLY THE IPHONE'S MICROPHONE, you can listen to your baby’s heartbeat and movements, just like a Fetal Heart Monitor.
**FEATURED IN APPLE'S STAFF PICK**
** TOP 10 in several other countries: Australia, Canada, Ireland, France, China and more. **
This app supports:
* iPad Mini
* It does NOT support iPod Touch!
* “My Baby's Beat” was designed for weeks 30-40.
Some customers report success as early as week 20, but if you are not in weeks 30-40, keep in mind that the chances of success are low.
* We recommend switching your iPhone to airplane mode, to stop all mobile and Internet transmissions before using this app, just as a precaution to avoid cellular concerns that people have. (The app itself does not activate any iPhone features that emit waves of any kind. It only taps the microphone, “captures” abdominal sounds, and amplifies them.)
*Older iPhone models (4,4s,3GS) requires using a simple headphones without embedded microphone.
"...I was 35 weeks when I got the app and had no issues finding my LO's heartbeat or my own. I just watched the tutorial and it was easy.
It might help people if they try looking in the same area their doctors find the heartbeat...
I had tried using a $40 doppler from Babies R Us and couldn't find my heartbeat or the baby..."
(Flfishie – Apr 16, 2011 – US App Store)
"... it was so nice to hear, and even my midwife had a listen using the app and couldn't believe how it worked..."
(Zayn07 – Jun 2, 2011 – UK App Store)
"...As others have said it is a little hard to get the hang of using this app,
but once you get the hang of it it's great! Every time I use it, it becomes easier to locate my baby's heartbeat..."
(Armywife25f – Apr 29, 2011 – US App Store)
“…Found my baby's heartbeat – took a while but after lots of moving around I did eventually manage to find it. Found mine, my partner's and my dog's after too. Just for fun! :)”
(Nicinakis – Apr 3, 2011 – UK App Store)
"...Best app I've ever bought!! I wish I would have found this Fetal Heart Monitor App earlier in my pregnancy!..."
And to all you wte moms-to-be ... Yes, it really does work!!!!!!"
(OneHottMomma – May 21, 2011 – US App Store)

Bug fix for crash scenario when communication is off.
Not worth $5
I was skeptical on whether or not I should buy this app considering it was $5, but after reading all the great reviews I thought I'd give it a shot. I held it up to my heart first to see how the heartbeat would pick up, of course I knew it wouldn't be as loud as mine, but when I held it to my stomach I didn't hear anything besides swishing, which to me just sounded like digestion. It picked up when she kicked, but that could've just happened since my stomach moved considering if I would touch my stomach at all the monitor would pick that up as well. I wouldn't waste your money. All the people that say they hear the heart beat are just hearing what they want in my opinion. I'm 32 weeks and i figured this far along into the pregnancy I would be able to hear the heart beat considering I've seen other people at 16 & 24 weeks review it and say they heard it.
I didn't think it would work. I kind of thought it was some kind of scam but for $5 I could try it. I wouldn't miss the money. Anyway I'm overdue at almost 42wks, and whenever I feel like my baby isn't moving much I use this app to reassure me that my lil man is still thumping away. I was stunned that this was real and I got this to work for me. It's hard to find my baby's heartbeat but it's often hard for my doctor to find too. It takes some time and patience. Baby's position probably is a big factor in whether you will hear your baby's heart or not. I think it's a good tool for someone who is overdue like me and you have to be monitored every other day until labor.
Surprisingly enough I purchased this app, even though I have been following it through its ups and downs. Good and bad reviews. Still I decided to make the purchase, and couldn't be more satisfied. At 15 weeks I did hear the heart beat. First I tried with my own, to see how sensitive it is, and at the slightest move static will kick in so being careful is a key. After trying it on my belly, and back to my own heart, I was clearly able to distinguish what the beat is supposed to sound like. So viola! IT WORKED like many reviews patience is key. I feel Sorry for those who could not hear the beat! But it sure is amazing to hear it!
