Connecting to the Internet in the parks: Without a strong Internet signal, wait times, park hours and schedules may not update accurately. You can see if your device is connected properly by checking under Settings.

Note: Some features in this app will require your full name, country, birthdate and email address, as well as access to your location data. If Bluetooth is enabled on your device, this app will also collect your precise location information through beacon technology in order to improve your in-park experience, such as wait times. To facilitate the sign-in process, the app will also require access to your email address, stored within Account Manager.

This app will request access to your camera to scan credit cards for purchases, link tickets and passes to your account, and scan and link PhotoPass cards. The app will request access to your external storage to cache certain data for offline browsing.

The app will request access to your contacts to assign purchased PhotoPass images to your contacts.

Optional planning tools may also ask you to provide details about your travel party. Some features in this app include the ability to make purchases and will require a Wi-Fi or mobile carrier data connection. Guests must be 18 years or older to make purchases.

Can book fastpass but truly drains iPhone

I'm only taking the time to review because of the drain issue. I noted it in other reviews and dismissed it. Yeah right. They probably have location turned on and notifications and all that. But it's true. I realized how bad it was when I made it to the car at the end of a long magical day, with 10% left on iPhone 6s+. I plugged in (ahhhh) and fired up maps to find my way home. Even plugged in, I was still draining! 9%, 8%... what could it be? I held home to see all active apps and... there it was. Hogging my juice! As soon as I swiped it closed, i was charging again. This app has become indispensable because of the ubiquity of fastpass and the fastpass detante that has come into being. Some rides are now closed to "standby" (people waiting in a regular line) because of fastpass overload. So you need this to be able to book fastpass on the fly. But the draining thing is BRUTAL and absolutely true. I found the 3rd party "magic kingdom" app superior in maps, dining, ride info, wait times, everything, except you really need this to book fastpass so your kids can still believe in you.

Great app, could use some improvement

We have used this app for years for our Disney trips. I love the concept and I find it overall to be very helpful! The app does seem to be a little slow/lags with changing from one thing to the next.
My biggest most recent complaint is a few days ago I updated the app, and no I can no longer search for reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table! It shows "call to book" instead of "reserve dining". This really annoys me as I am trying to snag reservations for an upcoming trip and calling or even checking from my computer is extremely inconvenient. That's what the app is supposed to be for, convenience! Hopefully they will fix this issues QUICKLY, as well as how it lags.

For all its faults though, this is one of the best apps I've ever used for a theme park! I still love it despite it faults!

Poor Design & Function

Not a well-made App:

1- While physically in the Magic Kingdom (whether on the Disney Wi-Fi, or my own LTE Data), the App wouldn't launch/load half the time, & I'd have to wait 10 or 20 minutes before it would launch/load.

2- It kept logging me out after a few minutes of inactivity. It's not like a Bank Account, where I have to worry about my money being secure, it's an Amusement Park App--leave me logged in!

3- Navigation in the App is not clear enough. It's hard to find information, & far too easy to go "Back" too far (like exiting out of the Magic Kingdom section--when I'm physically IN the Magic Kingdom, I shouldn't have to keep reminding the App that I'm NOT in Epcot).

4- The Fast Pass times were seemingly random. My phone would tell me that there were Fast Pass slots for a certain Ride at, say, 2:15, 4:30, & 5:00. At the same time, my brother's phone would say 2:00, 4:30, 4:45, & 5:30. And at the same time, our friend's phone would say 2:30, 4:45, & 6:00. What the hell???
