Waiting to be impressed.

We are disney fanatics. We have enjoyed the many visits to Disneyland and California Adventure and have always been blown away by their customer service. This is far superior than what our experience has been so far at Disney World. The resort rooms are not worth the money at all for the lower budget rooms. They are CRAZY small and ours was not clean to the Disney standard. We were recently traumatized by the Northern CA fires and we couldn't get our mail as planned due to significant delays. Some was Disney attire (costumes and such). I called the resort and asked if they would accept a package. They were so gracious about it. Come to find out Disney is CHARGING us a handling fee. Never mentioned that and it's like we are being punished for having having fire wreak havoc on our beautiful county.
We ate at Art of Animation and it was disgusting.
Best of all- they lost our stroller. We never received it from the Magical Express and they blame our airline, Virgin America. I checked it in. I watched them load it on the airplane. We are at the parks with no stroller. It was a simple umbrella one but our 5 year old gets tired. So now we have to PAY to rent one each day.

I'm shocked Disney. I expected more from you and hoping to make the next few days magical...just waiting for that to happen.

Update or downdate?

I used this for the first time since it's updated. What used to be a pretty seamless reservation process, is now anything but. Before you could scroll through restaurants and see pricing symbols to make it easier to choose...$ - $$ - $$$ - $$$$, which is pretty easy to understand. And makes it easy to eliminate what you're not looking for. Now you must click on a place to then see a description. i.e: "casual dining" In my experience ( 25 + years) and dvc member everything is casual here. Food and service makes the difference in pricing. So if I want to look at a place like narcoosies vs gasparilla grille ( assuming I'd never been here) a symbol to point me in the right direction would be nice...also can't link my reservation to the site. So yeah, I'm thinking "downdate" on this one. Why fix it if it ain't broke. Just add what's needed and leave the rest alone. The times available for dining alone is horrible. Takes twice as long. Hope the techies reconsider recent "fixes". Haven't even ventured into the rest of the app.

Edit- can you please put dining reservations in groups like before?? Ie; Epcot - MK -’s stupid to scroll through every place when you just want to see Epcot. Etc....but no one reads these anyway....

Would love a fastpass notification option!

Overall the app is really useful. And I rather have it than not. So I'm glad it exists, considering what it was like back in the day. With that said, it'd be awesome if the app gave you notifications when fastpasses were about to start (maybe a "your fastpass starts in one hour" with the time for the fastpass also provided), so that way you don't have to open up the app and go through several screens just to check real quick. Even have a setting when you can toggle how often you want the reminder (1 hr, 3 hr, no notif, etc.) Disney started doing the notifications for photopass which is all well and good. But please do fastpass. That'd be so much more useful. Also an idea: have a setting to change the order for how rides are listed in the wait time screen (alphabetically, maybe favorites first, even a separate tab to look just at favorites alone or something?) Something to organize through all the results that show up, even the ones you don't care about.
