MyFridgeFood is an interesting and definitely quite useful tool. It presents you with two options – quick find and detailed kitchen. Both these pages have check boxes representing various food items. Just check the ones which you’ve got in your kitchen and it’ll show a list of recipes you can make with some or all of them. Click on the recipe and get the cooking details. Hence a nice tool to quickly check what food you can prepare with the items you’ve have at hand.

This is one of the greatest apps to be conceived.
Developer, if you are reading this, please continue updating and continuing on this app, lots of features that could be improved or fixed but all in all, this is exactly what I’ve been trying to find all my life. The search bar doesn’t actually search and as many ingredients as there are, they’re not all there. It’s missing bacon funny enough.
The concept is great, tons of ingredients to pick from. But also a lot of ingredients not listed, like ketchup, mustard, pickles... when it lists the meals, it does not list them in any sort of order - giving me suggestions where I’m missing out 14 ingredients as my first suggestion. Again, I love the idea, I love that there are tons of ingredients & you don’t max out on how many you can choose - I see the potential.
Searching for ingredients turns out no results, and after that the ingredients list becomes inaccesible.
After closing the app, the ingredients don’t stay, so it isn’t really useful unless you manually list everything in your fridge every time you want to cook.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
