My IP Info

By Joseph H. Schwendt II

Open iTunes to buy and download apps.

Description

My IP Info is an application designed to quickly and easily display the Internal (Private) IP Address of your device, as well as the Public IP Address (as seen from the Internet). It will also determine the GeoLocation of the Public IP (using HostIP.info). Finally it tells you if your device is directly reachable from the Internet by attempting to connect to your device using a simple http request on TCP port 80 from a remote server on the Public Internet.

Customer Reviews

Requires Internet connection

This app requires an internet connection, crashing if unable to reach a sever. Not very helpful in my case of trying to configure a DHCP server.

Simple App

This is a awesome app. Simple and effective.

Awesome free app!

This is a great little app that helps to determine your IP address information.

Future enhancement ideas:
- Traceroute?
- DNS lookups/resolution
- Ability to ping inputted IP address
