Painfully obvious waste of time

This is billed as an app that will tell you what your best hair color is, so I expect it to do something at least vaguely similar to that. Not so in the least.

What this app actually does is this and this alone (literally): ask you what hair color you are now, do you want to go darker/lighter and if so by how many shades, do you want warm/cool/neutral coloring, do you have grey hair and if so how much and finally do you prefer gel or creme formulation. Then it calculates that all out and tells you which of its products you should buy.

Thing is -- none of that is giving me "professional advice" (what it's billed as) on what shade would look best on me.

It's just telling me my own preferences back to me.

Theoretically this could be useful to save you the 1-2min necessary to glance at a couple box covers to figure out the display organizational scheme, if you already know basically what color you want.

The touted "scanning" tool just tells you to stay within two shades of your current haircolor (whether or not it's dyed -- which makes no sense), no matter what color you choose. Not exactly a "smart app", by a long shot.

If you are looking for a color, great. But I already had a color and tried scanning it. The scanner would not read the barcode what so ever, and once I typed the ups in it didn't recognize the product.

My Colorist / Loreal App

This App as a bug it keeps closing on me every time I lounge it hope this resolve this issue so I an give a better review .
