It would be good if it weren't so glitchy...

This app, when working properly, is so good. The interface is easy to use and clean, and you have all your favorite wikia pages at your fingertips... except the app makes that hard to do.

First off, the "Continue" button when you're adding your favorite wikia pages doesn't work unless you first hit a wikia page in the featured list. Also, the app doesn't save your wikia pages, so whenever you start the app, you're forced to repick your pages (again with the glitchy "Continue" button). Because of these two major issues, this app is unusable. Please fix this.

It's just okay....

Easy to see articles and I like the favorites list, but also articles are modular and random. A big issue is that the back button doesn't go back to the previous page a lot of times but instead to the main home article or a random page, so if you are reading a list of links that were maybe 5 or 6 pages away from the main article, you end up lost or back at the start, which makes navigating back to that page a chore...

Because of that it doesn't seem worth it, just look at the wikias in a normal web browser without the back page fumbles

Once great, now pitiful

This is a prime example of a great idea that has stalled into incompatibility. The user interface is simple, like the Wikipedia app, but compatible across the various wikis hosted on Wikia.

The problem is that there have been no app updates since 2013, and Wikia has progressed to a point where the app does not work for some wikis. Two comic-related wikis, for example, show only an info box plugging a video series introduced by the admins of those wikis. Content is unavailable for all pages through the app.

To make matters worse, there are bugs in the app that any decent developer would at least acknowledge, if not fix outright. The biggest one is that, no matter how many wikis you set up at startup, you cannot add any more and expect them to be saved. The original selection is there forever, or until you remove and reinstall the app.

I recommend using Safari, Chrome, or equivalent to use Wikia. This app will bring little more than frustration.
