Hate I ever called ADT, misrepresented service
I needed security around my home and I called ADT 800 number. AST sent out a tech who installed my system. He showed me how to work the app to view my home and then he showed me this camera (Ring) now hang on my house next to the original door bell. It looks a hot mess on a light Greg house. Then I hear noise outside my home and I go to view past activity from the last 5 min and get a message my contract has expired. I call ring and ask them why am U being asked to pay an additional charge, when I already agreed to a set charge with ADT. I called ADT, they said I need to call a company called Defender a 3rd party vender passing themselves off as ADT. This is not right. When people demand safety in and around their homes ADT and Defender is misleading people and putting them in a contract that is not being accurately explained to them and can’t afford. Leaving the customer with a false since if Securiity and a loss of trust. I hate I ever called ADT who has forced me to now have to deal with a company I never heard of and now have to pay more money outside of ADT’s already expensive plans.

Therefore, they install, sell their own alarm equipment, and are not owned by ADT. The contract you signed also has Defenders information listed on the first page. Very poorly designed app.
I have my ATT app but it only works for one account and I have two accounts so I always get a paper bill in the each month that says I’m overdue in fact it says that for my account ...5643 the due date is December 23 the amount due is $46.97 and it says days overdue is 30. Makes no sense. I get tired of getting these bills every monthTelling me I am overdue. I have to go into my banks “bill pay” and pay it through that means instead of being able to pay it through the my ADT app. The other account is on the app and is paid automatically every month.
