myBatteryLife - Battery Monitoring Tool
Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
************ A Note from the developer ************
If you wish to use the original 1.0 version of myBatteryLife please go to Your iPhone Settings->myBattery->Turn Original Layout On
-"myBatteryLife" is the first and most accurate battery monitoring application. We offer monitoring for both Internet on Wifi and Internet on 3G or Edge.
-"myBatteryLife" determines which hardware your iPhone or iPod is running and determines the remaining time on that. This is the only accurate way to determine your remaining battery life. Don't be fooled by other ripoff apps that only use one hardware specification.
Have you ever started watching a movie on your iPhone or iPod Touch and missed the ending because you ran out of battery? Or do you constantly wonder how much talk time, audio, or internet surfing time you have left on your battery? With myBatteryLife, you'll never have to wonder again whether you have enough battery left to make it through a long subway ride, or to watch a whole movie on a flight.
"myBatteryLife" displays the current percentage of battery life left on your iPhone or iPod Touch. With a large percentage display and a visual indicator, you can quickly view your remaining charge. "myBatteryLife" also determines your type of hardware (it differentiates between iPhone and iPod Touch generations) to calculate a the remaining hours and minutes for different uses.
It displays the hours and minutes remaining of:
-Internet on Edge or 3G
-Internet on Wifi
-Light Gaming Time
-Heaving Gaming Time

"myBatteryLife is device specific (unlike some of the other apps) so it’s pretty accurate. There are quite a few apps that display battery info but my pick of the litter is myBatteryLife. If you’re going to be on a long plane ride or road trip, it’s handy to know how many episodes of the Family Guy you can watch before your phone goes dead."

"What I really like about the display is that its clean, big, and easy to read. I highly recommend that you check this app out. Its a great little utility application that helps you keep track of your battery which is very important when it comes to the iPhone."
"This app gives you accurate information for available talk time, internet on 3G, internet on wifi, video playback, and audio playback battery time left. Very simple app with a great battery image that shows how full it is."

Thank you for all your feedback! I read through all emails and reviews and will incorporate any fix/feature possible.
*Note: This application only updates every 5% of the battery life. Any application that updates more often than this is not accurate. The estimated times are estimates only, results may vary. myBatteryLife DOES work on iPod Touch 1st and 2nd generation despite bad reviews. iPod Touch MUST have the latest 3.0 software installed.
What's New in Version 2.0
-Works with iPod 3rd Gen.
-New User Interface!
*If you wish to use the original 1.0 version of myBatteryLife please go to Your iPhone Settings->myBattery->Turn Original Layout On*
-Standby Time Remaining!
-Added battery logging and graphing for the battery life of your iPhone or iPod Touch (Note: Logging will take a while to build up a sufficient database). Data logging is only able to take place each time you open myBatteryLife. So use it often!
-Rotate your phone left or right to see the graph of your battery life over time
-Fixed a label which was incorrectly labeled for iPhone 2G
-Updated memory management
iPhone 4 Owners !!! ((READ))
Well first of all ive had this app since i first received my iPhone 3G...it worked really well...perfect actually!!!:):)
Second...for those iPhone 4 owners...dont even bother buying these kinds of app's...most r just a waste of money...unaccurate...so rele ders no point...just enable
the one Apple originally gives you in the Settings...its the most precise one u may ever see if it's Apple's...am i right?
Lastly...ive been reading some of the reviews on here concerning about how to turn on the battery percentage that is already installed on the iPhone 4....Just go to Settings->General->Usage n on the top of the page it will the first option...jus tap ON...that simple...:) Your Welcome !!!
UNBELIEVEABLE-- the programmer ACTUALLY responded to my e-mail TWICE!! I'm keeping the app just on that basis. If you want the OLD program you have to go to Settings (not the settings on this app, but the separate Setting Icon on the I-phone itself, then make your change.) BTW, the programmer knows he didn't hit one out of the park on this update, but he's working on the fix(s) now. The program STILL works fine---it's just the appearance of the program that has everyone upset!
I've been searching for an application that could give me the status of my iPhone battery. This application did not let me down, a worthwhile investment over other "competitors" products!
The only thing this application is missing, is the ability to review history for how long a battery lasts after every charge, this way you will know when your battery in your iPhone is about shot and to look to replace it from Apple.
