Ratings and Reviews
You want trim selection but don’t have any hybrids listed so no given choice is correct as my hybrid has no v6. Still needs work. Still not aware of new oil with new car.
It reminds me to service the car after I traddd it in with no way to tell it— but delete traded in car from garage and replacing with newer purchases doesn’t report old one not here now. Later it has figured out I traded but thinks new car overdue for maintenance as 1st one not until 3000+ miles in the future or 5 months and it is counting as it’s running with old oil. Also it apparently wants review updated at least monthly which means it will be a while before I’m back.
Below is old review—
It does lack ability to correct an old error but that may be the more secure way to have data.
I renewed my car license plate about a month early. It had been reminding for weeks from last years renewal. Now it thinks renewal is due in 52 instead of 57 weeks from renewal date. Not a big problem but could be better as in asking due date since Indiana has them spread through the year.
Nice to see what you think my trade in value is but not an active trader.
Nice, but very limited
If you want to manage your personal cars, and only want updates on oil changes, plate registration, and tire rotation, your search is over; this is a good app for that. You can also browse through your reported service history, and with a VIN or license plate #, you can get a mini-Carfax report (but no crash/salvage data).
However, this app can only handle 8 cars, so if you have a small fleet, it won’t work. You also can’t manage other things like air filters, cabin air filters, and other fluid checks, but you can add receipts for them.
I wanted to like this app, but the artificial limits on number of cars and inability to add other maintenance means I have to find a different app to manage those things.
Doesn’t incorporate basic feedback submitted in-app
Multiple times in the last few months, I’ve reported via the “Not right? Tap to let us know” form that D.C. allows for 1-year registrations. The dropdown menu only has options for 2-year and 3-year reminders. Therefore, I can’t reliably use the app to keep track of upcoming maintenance and DMV requirements.
Why haven’t they incorporated the most basic feedback that affects the entire Washington D.C. user base?! It would be trivial to make this change, but they evidently don’t care. Maybe this public review will make them realize that people have other options.
I’m planning to find another app to track my vehicle/DMV maintenance unless they fix this in the next 7 days.
