Ratings and Reviews
Constantly Crashes, doesn’t open
It’s disappointing that the same month when the price per subscription went up by 25%, the App completely stopped working. I haven’t been able to open it in over 2 weeks. It just immediately crashes every time. It was previously one of my favorite parts of MyCase, so I miss having access to it. I otherwise love using MyCase on my Mac and will gladly upgrade my review if and when the App issue is remedied.
PS: speaking of the web version, is there any way you could add more timers? 3 sometimes isn’t enough!
MyCase is an excellent company. They are very responsive, even quick to reply when you contact them. This newer version of the app has its awesomeness but the desktop version is perfect. The app her gets 5 stars because they are constantly improving it. For example, almost everyone I have made a suggestion, they eventually make that improvement. I kind of feel like they have done it just for me and my practice, but surely other attorneys requested the same thing. Regardless, they are super responsive. This is the only all in one app that is out there that I am aware of. And for the desktop version, clients can use that across all devices, as if an app. Even the next moat popular attorney cloud service does not have client interface. I won’t say their name, but c... seems like a good product too, but with mycase, you’re client get an interface to upload docs, pay bills, see court dates, send messages, etc. I can’t say enough about how I manage my practice is inseparable from mycase. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Not sure how my friends still use many programs (email, excel, dropbox, cc-processor, etc.) instead of this one program. Granted, email is required but it can be integrated. And is not used to send confidential info. With mycase, clients can upload docs securely and in confidence. I recently heard of an attorney for whom the IRS seized his clients records from dropbox. I don’t think this could happen with mycase since it is purely for attorney-client purposes.
I have been a user for years. The only thing that keeps me looking for a replacement to MyCase is it’s bad app. I mean it’s just unusable on an iPhone.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
