So far so good...

Must admit we just got this furnace but wanted to give feedback on the app since most reviews were so negative. Maybe the app has updated since those reviews. It takes a few minutes for the thermostat to register the new temp from your phone. At first you think app doesn’t work to adjust temps because the home thermostat doesn’t show the new temp right away. Just be patient and it will reflect your request within 5-10 min. And it DOES keep you signed in. Previous reviewer may have thought the grey check mark meant you were already signed in. The grey check mark is a reminder to check the box so the mark is black. They should remove that grey check mark because it is probably confusing for people. Will update when we try to adjust temp remotely and gain more experience.

Terrible for the price of the thermostat

This is a knock on the interface in general not just the app. My biggest complaint is that it’s to many touches just to change the temp. When I want to change the temp I should just be able to walk up
And make the room hotter for colder with a single swipe.

The feedback response time is too slow. When I drop the temp below the current room temp that means turn off the system!

Other thermostat features like the picture frame and the splash screens with the weather are not very useful.

Rather than this integration with other services like Siri,ifttt,... would be much better value.

I hope the software delivers/product owner from Bryant reads this and we can hope to start seeing some improvement to the UI.

What a joke!

I thought by previous Honeywell z-wave thermostat was bad. Unfortunately when my old furnace died, I decided to get a new one from Bryant. It came with its own thermostat. The app itself seems to emulate a view of the thermostat screen. But... 9 out of 10 times changes made in the app are NOT transmitted to the thermostat. There is no error message - let's say you are approaching home and increases temperature from the app. The app keeps showing set temp - when you enter home you see old one on the thermostat.
