Can’t even use it. Crashes if you tap Phoenix. Useless. Doesn’t do anything at all but crash.
Yelp without the jerks
This is a great app with a very simple concept. Users rank places they would recommend to others. That's it. Well, except for the fact that people add nice photos (there's Instagram compatibility to make things quicker) and that it has a really nifty "bucket list" feature where you can make lists to add places to so you can remember them later. Very easily searchable. I would especially recommend this as a resource to people living outside of a major metropolitan area. I previously had to rely on word of mouth here in Tacoma (as opposed to when I lived in Portland where restaurants are reviewed to death) now even locals are pretty wowed by the recommendations my husband and I make. I can't give this app all the credit but it's helped us find some places that had us totally floored. Only complaint: I don't think there's a way to add restaurants that aren't listed already and I have wanted to.
Perfect solution for indecisive significant others!
Seriously, no more googling "restaurants in my city" and doing the usual "what sounds good tonight". The app has finally become big enough in my city (Kansas City!) that I can open it up and see what's "trending" and it points me to a place that's actually "trending"! As I'm typing this, the app recommended Brio in the Plaza - it could've recommended any of the other amazing restaurants in the Plaza that are also ranked highly but Brio trended higher (and accurately so) because there's an awesome Happy Hour (any Kansas Citian can vouch to this) going on right now! As in, the app does what its supposed to. I also love the "Bucket List" option that seems to be new! Great tool to keep a list of all the places I want to check out in my city!
