I absolutely love this app and recommend it to all of my friends! I swear cycle syncing is the answer to almost all women’s health problems. I always feel as if I’m eating and doing the right things for that part of my life when I cycle sync and I feel as if it helps me switch up my diet enough that I end up solving my deficiencies and health needs along the way. I’ve lost excess weight and my acne is starting to clear. I eat overall way better than before and feel amazing. I combine this with a mostly dairy free, gluten free diet and exercise (according to what phase I’m in) but I want people to understand that small changes make a difference too- and to be honest this lifestyle isn’t hard. I find that what I’m craving actually align with what is best for me to eat during that part of my cycle! It’s like our bodies already know what we need (hint: because they do!) I just want everyone to know that this wasn’t a traumatic or painful experience learning how to cycle sync, it came so naturally to treat myself better and listen to myself and my natural rhythm- it almost felt like coming home. So don’t be scared, just try it!

I haven’t been compelled to write a review in a long time. This app represents the best of technology for me. I finally feel like there is a human out there genuinely listening to my very deeply personal human needs. I loved Alisa’s book and am loving her compassion expressed through this app. I would like to donate money to continue supporting the development that’s how much I love it and want to see it grow! There is so much potential here. My favorite features are the symptom recommendations during particular cycles. A lot I already know (I am a wellness coach), but having them right there remind me during volatile times (irritation, cravings, cramps, etc) reaaaally helps me take action rather than wallow in inaction. I feel in control and motivated to keep improving. I love sharing this with clients and friends as well. Thank you for creating and keep going! With love, Jenna

Best period app I've used, but room for improvement

This is by far the best menstrual cycle app I've used, as it not only tracks when you are bleeding but also the other phases of your cycle and gives tips on how to support your health during those phases. I really enjoy having more information on the specific hormonal interactions that are happening during these phases, and how this affects your energy levels, cognitive strengths, and the foods that will be beneficial. However, I find the food tips to be fairly superficial and limited compared to the information provided in the book (which I've read). The food tips are very brief and it would be much more helpful to have more details (especially since it's not a free app). Also: why doesn't the "sync my partner" feature list the foods they should be cooking for you?!
