I lost 70 lbs with the online version of this app years ago. Now I'm more on the go and not to add gained all my weight back and some. The LiveStrong app is really convenient. This application allows for users to track their calorie intake, (especially important for those seeking to loose weight), water, weight, bmi, etc. If I had to give constructive criticism on this app I would say that the daily water intake doesn't allow for mistakes to be corrected. I accidentally put in that I drank 824 oz of water and there was no way of changing it. The reminders that you can set for this app also comes in handy. Not to mention the food library is amazing. You can even scan items. Most other apps like this one you have to manually enter a lot of foods you eat. LiveStrong has almost everything in its food tracker, everything down to 5 star restaurants to the local burger joint, and fresh fruits and vegetables. I recommend this app to make a long story short. It could improve in certain areas but what doesn't need improvements these day. 😊

The concept of this app is great - manually log your food & beverage intake (organized in categories of breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, water & exercises) and gives you a caloric goal based on you and your personal goals.
I personally use this app and often recommend it to my clients regardless of their goals because it is very easy to lose track throughout the day and MyPlate keeps you mindful of what you're consuming.
This app is not 100% accurate, but still provides a good general idea of the calories you need throughout the day and what you're consuming vs. burning. Just keep in mind that your body burns calories digesting food (which isn't taken into consideration with MyPlate). -REACH Personal Training
Overall very useful
It is effective if you honestly use it and pay attention to servings sizes.
Two reasons I knocked off one star: First is because when you scan a barcode it doesn't give you the option of selecting nutritional facts based on "as is" vs prepared. If you prepare a meal you have to enter that info manually.
The second reason is because you can not edit how much water you drank should you make a mistake. It defaults to 8oz. One morning I tried to enter 16oz but forgot to delete the 8 first so it recorded 816oz. Other than those minor issues it is a wonderful app
