"I love the pronunciation tool and it has helped me so much with recitation and memorization. The tafseer application is amazing in terms of on-the-go referral or an in-depth study of the Quran. The Root words feature has also been great in helping me understand the arabic more....I find myself recognizing the words and getting the general gist of an ayat! I find this extraordinary as I have never been able to do this before...I love the fact that so much info and knowledge is literally at my fingertips..."
Are you a beginner or an advanced student of the Quran who could benefit from a Quran Study ‘Super Tool’?
myQuran is a unique and powerful application that enables us to study the Quran at many levels. myQuran makes learning, reading, understanding, memorizing and sharing Quran knowledge like never possible before.

Key capabilities of the app include:

Thank you for this wonderful application
Good, but Could Become Great
Here are some areas and suggestion of where the app could be improved:
1- Instead of scrolling, the developers should take advantage of page flipping for the reading mode. That way it feels more like reading from a mushaf, and less like reading from a computer screen. One page would appear when the iPad is vertical, a two side-by-side pages when it is horizontal. Plus, having pages helps with visualization of ayaht when memorizing.
2- Have better transitions from ayah to ayah. A recitation loses a lot of its beauty when there are abrupt unnatural pauses between ayaht. Instead of the pauses, the blank space at the begining and end of each ayah audio file could fade out and in respectively improving ayah to ayah transitions and making the recitation sound more natural and beautiful.
3- Have a Tajweed Color Font option. It woukd help with correct recitation of the for beginers and pros alike. And if one prefers, it could be turned off.
4- Have recitation continue in the background when the app isn't directly being used.
5- Have more tafseer options.
6- Have pinch to zoom option.
With all that said, this is a good app - the best I have, in fact. The user interface is easy to use, the designs are smooth, the recitation and memorization options wonderful. I would like to see this app become great, especially when it is well within reacch.
I bought this app sometime last year and must admit it is the best app on my iPad. I however am disappointed that one has to buy the version for the iPhone. I understand that the developers have operating costs to meet but the Quran is supposed to be free. Since I have paid for it on the iPad, I really think it is a rip-off to have to purchase the iPhone version when there is no need to do this with most of the other apps.
I would also like to call the developer's attention to the fact that the verses are now numbered in Arabic numerals when one presses the translation button. Please rectify this for the benefit of people that do not understand Arabic.
Jazakh Allahu Khayran.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
