What's New in Version 3.6.2
Was hoping for something not resembling facebook
The reason no one wants to use myspace anymore is because its not simple like it used to be. Sure its no desktop version but if myspace would ever want a comeback its got to start taking notes from the first versions of myspace. It was so clever. The bulletins board was amazing! It wasn't the whole social media like it is now. With facebook and everyone else with endless feeds of streaming nonsense. Bulletins were more important and not full of crap. Everyones myspace page was customizable with html codes. Nothing customizable made from myspace but still the best customizable social media ever. The fact that band pages were very similar to regular pages was awesome. You could search 3 separate genres and a band would eventually come up with the combination you were looking for. I still to this day have not found as much music as I did with myspace than I did anywhere else. How could you take something so good and mess it up?
I can't believe this app exists. How embarrassing.
Don't walk away from this app. Run. Not only does this app lack vision, it also lacks functionality. Where's the music? Where are my old posts? Where is the the organization of any of my content or connections. What a complete cluster. I can't listen to my old tracks or any of my brethren's. I went to an artists page to find a play button just to see how and if this played music at all, only to find it crashing over and over.
Once again, MySpace shows us how not to operate a social media site and have or maintain, an at least decent relationship with their (old) users. I'm sure this review will drown in the 100's of other one star reviews, but it's so bad I had to say something. There is not even a slight bit of intuitiveness or usability to this at all. No way to add new content, and there is no organization or seeming traces of old content. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.
Where is MySpace
So I have been waiting for you all to get it together for awhile now, and you finally take step forward and all of my messages, pictures and other things are gone? What is the point of social media that erases all of your media overnight, even conversations I had within the last couple of months are gone. While I am at it let me make a suggestion while you are still moving, support for contact lists. I have been trying for over a year to integrate my MySpace contacts into my normal contacts and it seems like if I can do it with twitter and that other site I should be able to do it with you. Please add this soon, so I can add my friends that actually stuck with you like I did.
