BAD GRAPHICS & TOO MUCH DIALOGUE
I own all three of these games and they all have the same problems. The hidden object areas are too dark and monochromatic. You can be looking right at the object and still not see it. Even when the Hint is pointing to some of the objects, you'd be hard pressed to describe it. There is way too much dialogue between game scenes. The characters aren't saying a darn thing which adds to the game. However, if you try to click your way through the dialogue, you take a chance on hitting the screen one time too many and missing the instructions to the mini-games. Once you miss those instructions, you are screwed because there's no "?" or "Info" button to help you out. I thought the mini-games were so lame that I just wait for the "Skip" button to activate. The games only cost about $2 each when I got them so I spent the money to have a few mindless Hidden Object games to play while waiting for developers who are much better at this genre to release something new. Maybe, a first-grader with perfect vision and a lot of patience would enjoy these.
Mystery agents 1and 2
The game was fun for about the first 20 minutes. I would click on the correct objects and it wouldn't do anything until I would click on hint and then go back to the object. Also after awhile I got bored with having to find the same objects over and over again. If I found one feather I found one hundred. The scenes didn't really change all that much. If you want a really want a fun game with beautiful scenes I would recommend the Crystal Portal games. Sorry to the makers of the games, I really wanted to like it. Just up the game a little. Sorry for the nickname but everyone I pick, it was taken. I'm sure your mother is not a pig.
If you take too long to find the objects, you can hear an annoying car alarm. It never stops!!! I hate that! There have been several items I couldn't find without a hint. And after the hint faded I still stared at the area thinking "It's there?" I still didn't see it! I can't figure out why half the dialogue exists, but it could be an interesting story. But why does she have to find things to get a lawyer to take her case? It didn't segue very well. Some objects were so tiny it was ate to even tell what they were. Good thing this game is fairly cheap.
