Young screenwriter Isabel is suffering from writer's block. To get her creative juices flowing, she's rented a cabin in the remote Quinault Rain Forest, a temperate rainforest in the Pacific Northwest.
She comes across a terrifying secret when she finds the hidden laboratory of a scientist who, in the same place years before, developed a serum that induces clear visions of the past. Taken aback, but nevertheless intrigued by the possibility of a great story for her new screenplay, she begins to dig deeper. When her strange behavior attracts attention, one of the locals calls the Mystery Agency ...

BAD GRAPHICS & TOO MUCH DIALOGUE
I own all three of these games and they all have the same problems. The hidden object areas are too dark and monochromatic. You can be looking right at the object and still not see it. Even when the Hint is pointing to some of the objects, you'd be hard pressed to describe it. There is way too much dialogue between game scenes. The characters aren't saying a darn thing which adds to the game. However, if you try to click your way through the dialogue, you take a chance on hitting the screen one time too many and missing the instructions to the mini-games. Once you miss those instructions, you are screwed because there's no "?" or "Info" button to help you out. I thought the mini-games were so lame that I just wait for the "Skip" button to activate. The games only cost about $2 each when I got them so I spent the money to have a few mindless Hidden Object games to play while waiting for developers who are much better at this genre to release something new. Maybe, a first-grader with perfect vision and a lot of patience would enjoy these.
Keys & memorabilia SOLVED
Great game, beautiful music, sound effects & interesting story! Highly recommended, even if the help functions could be vastly improved.
Devs: Thanks for updating in an effort to make the game more accessible to us, the player. The help function may have been improved a while back, but as far as I know, there was never any prompt that informed the player to double-tap the memorabilia in order to use it. Players have always dragged the items over the desired area in order to use it (besides the map), so the memorabilia should be no different. & since it is different for the memorabilia, the player needs to be notified of this change, mostly because it is confusing.
Player's Solution to prior complaints: Double click the memorabilia while on the porch of the cabin & it will use the memorabilia & go on with the story.
Good but could have been better
First of all the zoom function was great! So happy to see this. The map was a good addition too, great to be able to jump straight to a location. The story was OK, I would have liked a bit more depth to the story and a breather, rather than going from one puzzle to another. I would have liked a bit more character development and interactions with the characters. Some of the puzzles were a bit annoying (the sliding puzzle) but I enjoyed the adventure part and figuring out what to next. I would have liked less mini-puzzles and more adventure, more story related puzzles (like the formula) rather than non-related headache inducing puzzles.
